1. No matter what happened last night, barring a complete turnaround, Schloss was going to be the Texas coach.
2. I'm told that the deal was done a little less than 2 weeks ago. How long were the conversations going? A while... I'd guess that he went through this entire post-season knowing that once it was over, he was bouncing.
3. It sounds like there were 100 reasons for him wanting to leave A&M. CDC didn't have to make some over the top pitch.
4. There's buzz that players will be joining him. The Portal is about to be pretty wild.
5. There's an expectation that NIL donations need to meet the excitement of the moment. Investment on that side is needed.
