After trashgate, we scored a TD to make it 14. Instead of going for 2, we kicked the extra point. I think this was really a smart coaching move. Texas had all the momentum and the crowd. Kick and keep that momentum and hope the defense does its part (which it did, until giving up the big 3rd down pass play). If you go for two and miss it, you risk giving up that momentum
