Dating back possibly even to the DKR years, Texas has a dismal record of repeated errors in clock management. Tonight, two glaring, potential game losing errors.
1) When we are down on about the UW 12 late in 4th qtr , we let about 15 seconds run off when in fact they had 12 men on the field (why don't we have a grad assistant to count and signal the coach so he can signal Ewers to snap the ball ready or not, getting a free 5 yards and no loss of down instead of wasting the time, running a bad play and having to settle for a field goal).
2) Ewers throwing the ball out of bounds upfield instead of spiking it, costing us 3 extra seconds of ball in the air time, which might have given us an extra play
We probably lose anyway, to a better team, but at least don't help them with needless incompetence.
Off Topic...Let XW go. The spoiled child-I don't get enough touches act only works when you catch what you do touch...
