Spoke with a couple of people with some knowledge of the program and the are more feeling pretty good about this season.
Some of the positive vibes come from players like Neyor being described as fully healed and competing at a high level,in fact he was described as being the most impressive of all the WRs so far. He noted that Worthy had been limited by a minor injury.

Both Hayden Conner,Cole Hutson and Conner Robinson have split snaps at backup center and all have looked good with Hayden getting a slight edge in his opinion. Dj Campbell is running with the ones and based on his recent practices he dont plan on giving up his spot. When asked to describe his play the word dominant kept coming up.

Cole Hutson will push him and also Jake Majors and Hayden Conner,he is practing at all three positions,he and Neto are 1A at both backup guard positions. Cam Williams is 1a at both backup tackle positions.

Three freshman OL men that are described as better than expected are Cojoe,Chatman and Goolsby. The source said Goolsby has been super impressive athletically and described him as a future star at left tackle. Cojoe was being used in the jumbo package do to his brute strength, that was prior to his ankle injury. Stroh also has been described as a road grader type. kirkland was described as too heavy but with real athleticism for his size.

The source also said that Ethan Burke is going to be one of the big surprises this year,he said that you may not be hearing a lot about him flashing in practices but keep in mind that he is head up with Kelvin Banks on 85% of the time so you are not going to just dominate every day but he is winning his share of reps.

Anthony Hill has been awesome, but dont sleep on Liona Lefou,he is a junk yard dog according to his teammates.--utx
