As I'm told a time or two, I like to brag on my kids. My oldest (23) is working with his second US Congressman in DC. His last internship the summer berfore he graduated from Oklahoma State, he interned at The White House. That summer my wife and I were increadibly fortunate to get a private tour of The West Wing and the EEOB. The EEOB is where most people work when they say The White House. After a once in a life tour of the West Wing, where me met Mick Mulvaney (Chief of Staff for Trump), we headed over to the EEOB where we could take pictures. We were in the room where the Japanese Diplomats were reassuring the State Department that there would be no hostilities. Saburu Kurusu and Kichisaburō Nomura were In the middle of the meeting when Pearl Harbor happenned. It was told that one of the Japanese delegates stabbed himself to death over the shame of decieit.
