A&M Sideline Speakers?

Any news on the speakers, how/if they were used and if they had any effect?
So what I was told is they weren’t allowed to use them during live action so if they did it was only to elevate the crowd noise between action. Would love to hear how the fans that attended thought it sounded.

Agreed. I haven't talked to any non Aggies that went to the game. Didn't see any obvious communication issues, so it seems like a non-issue, but I'd like to get a live account.

During the broadcast, the commentators mentioned that Sark complained to the refs about the speakers, because the aggys were supposed to shut them off when the play clock got down to a certain point, but weren’t and it was interfering with Texas’ play calling. Nothing else came of it, so I assume the refs handled it. Other than that, it didn’t seem to make any difference.

Thanks. I'd rather see the SEC deal with that stuff that effects the game and not worry about flag planting but I bet we get some flag planting guidelines in the off season.

I've got a bunch of Aggy students in my classes. Talked to one of them whose family has season tickets and she has been to every game this year. She told me that the LSU game was a lot louder than the game against UT. She said there just seemed to be a feeling since that first stop by the Longhorn defense that Texas had come to take care of bidness......
