Haven’t seen anything on this.
What happens to the CFP if Army or Navy (or both) knocks off Notre Dame?
Right now, the CFP schedule and teams are scheduled to be revealed on Monday December 8.
But Army plays Navy on Dec 14.
If Army or Navy is sitting there 11-0 and Boise is 12-1, what happens? I think the committee has to wait for Army-Navy, don’t they?
There is also a scenario where l couldn’t even seed the byes. If there is a chance that the Army-Navy winner is ranked ahead of the Big 12 or ACC champ you can’t even even make that call.
They may have to wait til Sunday the 14th, to announce, with the first round 6 days later.
