A few of thoughts:
- The defensive line wasn’t as troublesome as you would assume with the losses of Sweat and Murphy. Run defense was solid and there were QB pressures from time to time
- Other than the Brooks burn early with the fake screen deep ball, the secondary issues were on the young talent in both zone and man coverage.
- Felt like players were out of position and hesitant, perhaps the defensive chemistry is still building. More reps together and helmet communication will help
