Hey, I have a friend that bought an 2025 EV in January. It almost immediately started having electronic issues with the control panel and also the sound system. It's been at the dealer for over a month now and they have not been able to repair it. They have provided a loaner car for the entire time. My friend is starting to get worried since they're not able to fix the car in a timely manner. They're telling him now they're replacing some modules and have them on order but do not know when they will come in. Friend is starting to think he would like to return the car to the dealer since obviously it has some major defects and is worried about the reliability in the future( And also loss of value on the car). Can anyone suggest a lawyer in Austin that could help/advise with this issue. Also, any other advice I can pass on to him about this issue would be appreciated....AND--I did tell him NOT to buy an EV but he didn't listen
.
He paid cash for this vehicle...ironic thing is he traded in a car(Lexus) he had for 18 years that never had one major mechanical issue
Thanks.
