How many remember Jackie Sherril sending former player George Smith cash in a Fed Ex envelope, photographed by the Dallas Morning News. Jackie changed his story like 3 times. Randy Galloway of the DMN labeled it the Jackie Sherril, George Smith "you pick the liar contest". So how did aggy Board of Regents react - voted to support Jackie. This was late 80's.
Now a more contemporary example - Johnny Manziel came out recently and said that the NIL/family wealth story was a lie to cover all the cash payment violations that were committed.
Seems like aggy is fine with liars, as long as they happen to have on a maroon shirt? Not sure if there are other criteria. Anyone sense any current hypocrisy??
