Lot of effort went into that and its got some good factual points but i dont know a single Longhorn fan (except for maybe jodybo) that agrees with you.
OU is Texas principal longtime and most fervent rival. Period.
I suppose that may change but it’ll likely be because Bama and Georgia jump into the mix.
Theres a reason Texas went to the SEC wIth OU and i assure you it wasnt because aggy was there.
I grew up going to the Thanksgiving Day Parade and will admit that i loved it—the pagentry, the bands, the corp marching up Congress — this article is straight out of the 1950’s. I was 8-10 years old.
Somewhere along the way i grew up, and Texas grew up but somehow aggy didnt. Not sure why.
Its gonna be awhile before we’re there again. Maybe aggy will too, i dont know—but for now, its OU.
