I think the makers of the doc really wanted to paint him in a favorable light, but he's just such a rotten, horrible, despicable human being, it was an impossible task. I've never seen somebody who had such a warped view on reality. Though, shockingly, despite treating everyone he encounters like dirt, there were 4.9% of New Yorkers who voted for him.
