Welp, my team got their ass kicked. It happens. And Trump won handily. I never saw it coming but should have. All the signs were there. Wishful thinking I guess.
I apologize to all who over the last year or so I may have written harsh things. Particularly my use of the word fascist. It is a loaded word and I should have been more thoughtful. I apologize.
As for the substance of issues, I still hold those opinions. Many of them align as conservative, others not so much. But to the extent I ridiculed others for their opinions. Again, I apologize. Going forward I will simply disagree.
I truly do want to see Trump succeed. As his policies go so, goes the country. And I will gladly convert. We will all see won’t we?
One thing I have never doubted is that the folks opposite my views are patriots and love their country.
Btw, I am in a much better mood having watched some Mel Brooks movies. 😊
