I saw this comment on a friends post about a real life situation, which seems to me to be a part of broader discussion on police tactics.
"I have personally witnessed racism by police towards my black friends. When I was in Houston, two black friends of mine were with me when I stopped at a bank to withdraw some cash. When we got back into the car, a couple of police came over to my car, and one of them asked me if was OK. I said I was. He asked me if I knew the two fellows with me, and I assured him that they were my friends. Nothing like that ever happened to me when I did the same thing with my white or Asian friends."
What say you and why?
