Are there too many "good losers" on the Longhorns roster?
Losing is not fun. And anyone who is fine with losing was probably either not an athlete, or never won anything significant in their life.
"You show me a good loser and I'll show you who's the loser" is a saying my dad instilled in my siblings and me from a young age. But from the way Texas players talked Monday, it sounds like some of the Longhorns may not agree with this quote.
The Texas defense will not pin the blame on the offense for the team's losses, but the players did discuss how a lack of tough mentality and guys being O.K. with losing is impacting the team.
