The A's come into Houston for their first sereis of the year off their first victory after 11 game losing streak. The A's started off looking like a new team but they last won a series at Miami on May 4. They've started to bring up prospects and it is starting to look like the same old A's.

All of that means absolutely nothing if the Astros can't take care of business during this quick 2 game set.

Tonight we get JP Sears vs Hunter Brown
Tomorrow afternoon we get Luis Severino vs Lance McCullers Jr.

The Astros lineup as a whole is coming around. We now have 5 guys with OPS above .700 and only Brendan Rodgers below .600. Yordan, Diaz, and Walker are the 3 regulars that are bringing up the bottom of the order by output at the moment. Chas's number aren't good but I don't think he's had enough at bats to worry good or bad. At this point he's played in 33 games and has 48 at bats.

The whole Jake Meyers conversation is just crazy and I don't know that anyone would have predicted any of this two months into the season.
