On Tuesday, Texas A&M head coach Kevin Sumlin provided an update on the status of his starting quarterback. Knight told reporters that he will miss at least the remainder of the regular season.

Sumlin added that he hopes to have Knight by the bowl game.

I read somewhere that MS has announced that their qb, Chad Kelly, is out for the season as well. That means that with them playing this Saturday both teams will be without their qb's. So as far as I'm concerned all bets are off the table.

I too, am sorry that TK's career is over. Trevor Knight had some great games in his career. You can't take away that Sugar Bowl game he had against Bama a few years ago.

Hate to hear that for Trevor. He's such a good kid by all accounts. His win over Alabama in the Sugar Bowl is one of my all-time favorite Sooner games I've ever been to (even though I had food poison, and contaminated 3/4 of the toilets in the Superdome).

Daddy Phil was on the Louisiana Tech team with Terry Bradshaw. Bradshaw was drafted 1st overall. Must have been a pretty salty team. Phil has probably made several times as much money as Terry.
