Next - Win Game Two.

The Texas Longhorns behind a solid 6.2 IP of 3 run ball by Pete Hansen broke open the game in the 5th inning after a 2 run single by Skyler Messinger and never looked back, cruising to a 11-3 win over Air Force. In the night cap, Dallas Baptist was beaten 12-5 by Louisiana Tech. That means that the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs (43-19) will take on the Texas Longhorns (43-19) on Saturday evening at 6pm CST on Longhorn Network.

In the game between DBU and LaTech, the Bulldogs started Jonathan Fincher (7-2) and he went 5 IP, giving up 4 hits, 1 R and 2 SO. LaTech also utilized Landon Tomkins who went just 0.1 IP, giving up 2 H, 3 R. Greg Martinez closed the game out for LaTech going 3.2 IP, giving up 3 H and 1 R with 5 SO on 66 pitches. The good news is that Martinez will not pitch again tomorrow but the bad news for the Horns is that LaTech did not have to utilize Kyle Crigger, their closer. On the season, Crigger is 6-1, 1.79 ERA, .99 WHIP in 35 appearances with 9 saves.
