I am going to send a thank you gift card to a person who recently assisted on a business deal. Planned to send approx $250 for a nice dinner for he and his wife. Where in Austin should I send them?

nice gesture. I had Torchy Tacos for the first time since it was a meat wagon. If I had one in MN I could eat $300 of tacos a day.

Reservations are booked until mid-August and they fill up quick as soon as they become available. I was "lucky" to get them on August 8th. It better live up to the hype because that is Franklin BBQ line ridiculous.
Haven’t eaten there but I’m sure it will be good. Some friends of mine are the chef and pastry chef, they have cooked in the best of the best restaurants, and my old sous chef is the sous there now.
It seems like most good restaurants in town are booked out for awhile.

Never experienced anything like 3 months lol. Obviously the end of the pandemic makes it a completely different animal. Looking forward to it though!
