Long story short I’ve had disc/back pain for a good while now- a couple of years. Radiating pain and tons of hip/back dysfunction. I’m only 35. I must have just damaged the disc at some point in my late 20s or early 30s.
I’ve tried physical therapies of all kinds to give all of that a chance before considering any kind of surgery. I’ve tried 1 injection but got scared off when that didn’t work and they prescribed another one. I’m afraid of the never-ending steroid injection train and not actually trying to fix the underlying problem.
Anyone have experience with this and have success with a particular treatment or surgery? I think I'm headed toward another injection and more than likely a surgery if that doesn’t work. It’s getting to where any little thing I do flares it up.
