What are y'alls thoughts on this? I would usually be against it yet I think it will have to happen in some form or fashion this year since states can't declare for bankruptcy and most states (46) have balance budget amendments. If it occurs I would prefer each and every state and local municipality get an even split depending on their respective population count - i.e. each person has a $200 value on their head and the state gets $100 and the local municipalities get $100 (just as an example since I have not played with the numbers that much). With a population of 30M in Texas that gives Texas $6B to work with and a place like California would get around $8B. If a state still can't balance their budget after such help then they need to make cuts. I think this is the only fair way to do it so we are not rewarding states who have been fiscally irresponsible prior to this CV-19 mess. \m/
