I see Texas destroying the Heisman hope of twinkle toes, once again.

Mayfield is behind DeShaun Watson, Leonard Fournette and Christian McCaffery. If Fournette pulls a Clowney then I would put Mayfield third.

He's clearly putting forth the effort and getting into playing shape. I see a Heisman in his near future http://www.ncaa.com/news/football/a...aker-mayfield-choreographs-performs-hilarious
........................................................................ I literally just felt my T levels drop below 300........

What in the fvck is this chuck wagon bullsh!t?

I just, I don't understand............ I'd have has a mud hole stomped in my a$$ by my team mates, then by my family, if I ever made a video like that in college....... fvcking kids today man, I don't get them
.............

The Horns are in Perm Boy's head going back to his TT days when the D destroyed him. Deep down he doesn't think he can beat the Horns and I don't see it happening. The following year the Texas D may be tops in the nation and will have no problem facing a head case like the former Aggie QB.

It should be illegal to post crap like this....can we do something about this please?
Good grief dude. I posted this as an easy target for you to have something over on your main rival's qb and you act like you're offended. I served you up a softball, have fun with it.

No I do not see a Heisman Trophy in his future.

I see a kid who had two concussions within 6 weeks last year.

I see a kid that if he suffers one more concussion he will have to retire from fb because three concussions within a year will force him to. No doctor will risk his reputation and allow him to play. Fu

Wrong as usual belldozer.

I will admit that he looked great at the end of the year. But he was horrible in the RRR - he looked like he was scared to get hit. Maybe he got better. But maybe he benefited from S. Russell and T. Boykin getting hurt. And I know he benefited from having Sterling Shepard.

The whole offense looked bad at the beginning of the year. I remember Perine couldnt break 35 yards against Akron despite being a 1700 yard wrecking ball the previous season. The Oline stank bad until almost midway through the season. People forget they had 3 starters playing for the first time on the line. He did rely too much on Shepard but if someone steps up to take his place the OU offense will be again top 10 in the nation

Interestingly, it was not until after that game that he became a Heisman candidate.

Yeah, after...as in after a few cheap wins after getting punked by Texas, not directly after the Texas game.

Texas had him shook...six sacks will do that to you. That fella was getting folded up all day, so he heard steps, when steps weren't there. You could tell by the look on the Texas players face, that they could smell the fear in him...either that or Mayfield shitted on himself.

Thanks for your input GrampyinCali. Apparently the sarcasm of my post went over your head. I think GrampyinCali needs a nap.

between ballet and trying to see how many dongs he can fit in his mouth, how does he have time for football ?

I never did feel OU was that good last year. They were a pretty good team that got TCU without Boykin and Baylor without their QB. They got lucky with Patterson going for 2, and even then the receiver was wide open in the back of the end zone. Bad decision by Patty and a bad throw on the QB. They got exposed against Clemson. They will be a good team again, but they won't be NC ready. Not even close.

OU is not recruiting well enough to be an elite team. As a fan I think OU did better than anyone expected considering we had a new qb, new OC, new offense, 3 new starters on OL etc. yeah we caught some breaks but the OU coaching staff did a good job in my opinion.

There's no denying that Sterling Shepard was their best player and replacing him will be huge. If they have somebody who can step up their offense should roll. Their oc Lincoln Riley is an up and coming star. But Baker Mayfield's mental health is the key to their season.

No offense, but I do believe Texas beat Baylor without their starting quarterback
as well. They were using a wide receiver as a QB. or so the announcers said.

Absolutely true re: the Baylor game. You don't see us going around beating our chests about it either. Bell likes to almost dismiss the extreme luck you guys had last year in winning the Big XII and getting into the playoffs.

Overall I think Oklahoma had a good season, but for myself I see no reason
to go overboard on the season. However it was better than the year before.
But against Clemson they flat out got their donkey kicked, bad. Getting to the
final four in football is a pretty good achievement, but to win the National
Championship gives you the right to beat your chest and howl.
This year OU got beat plain and simple by a much better Clemson team JMO.

No and I don't visit Sooner boards, your point?
Your an over sensitive baby? My post was in jest. Some of you would find a way to complain if I handed you a million dollars. If you're not going to look at the video I posted then why cry foul about my post?

Um almost breaking .500 ain't exactly the same thing as winning the conference and making the playoffs Scholz.
