Bama player shenanigans at NC game

Bama linebacker should have been ejected for throwing the punch on the field. Then appears to go after a coach on the sideline, I figured Saban told him to start packing then since he was just a special teams guy at this point. Then a few minutes later he makes a monster clothesline tackle like it was ripped out from a football scene in a movie where you say that never happens.

Enabler U fans have zero say in how one should conduct themselves. Other than Penn St. the biggest POS institution in the country,

Didnt see this posted but regardless of your thoughts on the President, Bo should have kept his mouth shut.

Eh would you be concerned if he said F Obama? Probably not. I wouldn't care either way. They're constantly cussing each other out on the field from one play to another.

And then you had the Bama linebacker go after a coach on the sideline. Crazy. I’m surprised he’s not kicked off the team.

He should be kicked off for throwing the punch at his coach and should've been ejected for throwing a bunch at the Georgia player.

Honestly, I’m watching a football game, not an interview of Bo telling me his political opinion. Not to mention with the President in attendance.

Ha holy crap I did not know he went back in the game after tpunching the Georgia player and going after his class schedule. It looked to me like they took his helmet away so I figured he was done for the night.

Yet, Bama just won another national championship while we're sitting here criticizing them. Saban's job is to win football games, not be a boy scout leader. The ref should have thrown him out of the game for the punch, but Saban doesn't have to do a damn thing if he doesn't want to. No one on Bama's side could care less because they're national champions... again.

HUH? Come on man they didn't interview him when that was said. It was done before the game in the tunnel when the game wasn't even being played. The only reason you know about it is due to the media other wise you wouldn't even know.

I thought that was him that made the ridiculous tackle on the kick return. Maybe it wasn't. I was watching the broadcast with the coaches room and they said it was him.

Don't care about the F Trump. I hadn't even heard about it until now. I somehow managed to shield myself from the split second of politics, so what do I have to be upset about.

Football isn't a classy game, despite how much football fans seem to think someone having no class is an insult. I don't want my guys raping or beating up women, but other than this player costing me 15 yards I don't really care how classless he is.

Did yall know that brothers were playing against each other? The Ridley brothers! That's gotta be a cool thing.

He clearly said "fvck trump" and honestly, that's his right to do so. He also later walked it back by saying he said "fvck georgia". He didn't say "georgia" and it's obvious he didn't.

My only take on this is very simple, and I know I will never get an honest answer to this question, but I will pose it anyway:

If the roles had been reversed and this were 2009 and a white florida player yelled "fvck obama" as he came out of the tunnel for the national championship game, what would the media have done to that kid? Social media, news media, SID etc........ he'd have been crucified, labeled a racist and likely kicked off the team after the game. Don't believe me? It happened......... sort of........ at our university.

We all have the right to say what we want. We all have the right to think what we think. Our institutions should always be respected, whether you agree with the person in charge or not.

You talking about Buck Burnette? What he actually put on facebook was worse than F Obama if my memory is correct.

Not to get too political here, but I think the context is different in this case. Many people hate Trump for reasons other than race. Many white people share the same sentiment and would say the same thing about Trump.

With Obama, the hate was fueled by race.

I think the issue is who gets to decide what is ok to say and what is the punishment, if any? I think we should let people say what they want, then hate them if you want. Scarborough saying Fvck Trump is fine with me. It was dumb and I have the right to think he is a low IQ baller. So if Bo preaches about something in the future, it is ok to assume he is likely wrong. He also proved he is a liar, which is ok too.

I just hope if someone else says something stupid, you assume they are stupid and don't try to ruin their life.

That is 100% liberal bullshit. I didn't hate him because he is black. I hated him for the same reason I hated Ted Kennedy, and currently hate Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders. I think they are too generous with other people's money. Of course, I would have probably hated Robin Hood too.

Burnette's post was "all the hunters gather up, we have a #$%&er in the whitehouse", so the racial component is certainly hard to deny. There are plenty of reasons to want to say F Obama beyond him being black.

Had Burnette simply said f Obama and subsequently been booted the parallels would make more sense. Although I am also fine with different programs having different standards.

Bama sideline was more entertaining than the game there for a minute.

Wow. That is bad. Buck is dumb as %×#!%@$!

Unless your full time job will be politics or social organizing, it is probably best to tread softly when talking about our elected leaders.

I’m not aware of any college athlete that did, but sevreal pro athletes said pretty bad things about Obama(worse than just f him). I’m sure there was some outrage on social media, but that’s about it as far as I’m aware.
Let’s be honest though Trump got 1% of the black vote in 2016... so it shouldn’t be that surprising that he’s not all that popular with a young black athlete. All he said was F him... not exactly the end of the world.

Let’s also be realistic. Trump is an entertainer, he thinks of everything in terms of a show, and making bold statements. He has been harping on the NFL players and the anthem all year. I promise you he went last night knowing the players don’t go to the field for the anthem in college... he knew the camera would be on him standing for the anthem at a football game. No risk or any kind of statement form anyone else, and he probably WANTS people to make a big to do of a player saying F Trump... everyone just needs to start ignoring this stuff and move on.

Dude quit. Trump is not telling owners how to run their team. He’s simply patriotic and believes everyone that lives in this country should be as well or at least don’t disrespect what it stands for.

Ok Bell you’re right he hasn’t mentioned that the owners should do something about the players or anything about the commissioner. Look man I don’t like Trump and it has NOTHING to do with being Republican or Democratic. I like leaders and I don’t consider him one. Sorry.

If that was his goal he could of just put out a statement “players are entitled to do as they want, but I beleive that everyone should stand during the anthem and honor those who serve”:and left it at that.

That is not whst he did. Like he tends to do he takes something where originally he might of had a point turns it up to 11 and by the end most people are like how the hell did we get here?

I honestly don’t think he cares much about the protests. He went to war with the NFL as an owner of the USFL... he lost. Since he tried a couple times to be a part of the club and buy a team, he was rejected. I think this had more to do with bringing back a grudge more than anything.

Why do I say that? The NBA stars although they stand for the anthem they’ve blasted him publicalky a lot(players and coaches). A baseball player kneeled during the anthem I’m not aware that he said anything. So it seems to be only about the NFL... which he has a long history with in other capacity’s.

I serve in the military & I have no comment about any of our Presidents. I want a good job when I get out. Therefore, I have no comment.

Uh wait a minute........... you've never told us this.... or if you did I missed it.

Hmmmmmmm............. let me take a wild stab at this........ Army? You don't work in a SCIF because you wouldn't be able to have your phone to post during the day...... unless you're posting on your work computer......and if you're doing that, it's not your "secured" computer......... so if you're posting, you're doing it on your "other" computer, assuming you have a terminal........so I'm guessing enlisted, not an officer.

How am I doing?

Translation "I don't post during the day, I work in a SCIF, and I'm a O3-4".

You're not an asshole so that eliminates you from being an O6.
