Baseball sweeps Xavier in ugly series

The horns took all 3 games from Xavier this weekend, but man, it was ugly.

Hitting was subpar, I think only 4 extra base hits all series. Relied on lots of walks, pass balls etc to scrap runs across.

Defense was subpar, lots of errors that led to Xavier runs and big innings.

Starting pitching was the only highlight. Solid starts but the bullpen gave up something like 10 runs in 10 innings pitched with 10 walks. Blew several leads late.

But, this is a scrappy team that doesn't quit. Something like 13 come from behind wins.

Today they blew a late lead, were down 1 in the 9th with 2 outs, no one on base, but a single, a walk and then a double off the wall by Tate Shaw to walk it off.
