Jamail was a democrat. Most trial lawyers are supporters of the Democratic Party because they prefer laws and regulations that make it easier to litigate cases against companies and institutions with deep pockets. Republicans prefer less regulation and limits on litigation to try and reduce costs for companies.

Well I read in TX monthly that someone said that Jamail was the greatest trial lawyer that ever lived. I guess that proved it.

Jamail was loaded before the Texaco trial. He was a personal injury attorney or something like that but the Texaco / Pennzoil case was his crown jewel. He basically forced Texaco into bankruptcy.
