Best non Texas games week 10

Not many games for me this week.

The big one of course is Ohio State/Penn State. I think Ohio State/Oregon was the best game of the year and the buckeyes barely lost. I always liked Will Howard when he was at Kansas State. Penn State still hasn't played anyone and this will be the only challenge they face this year. I'm pulling for the buckeyes. And that's about it for me this week.

SMU/Pittsburgh a couple of ranked teams but I don't know much about either team.

aggies/South Carolina tossup

Upset of the week Vanderbilt over Auburn. I don't know if they benched him but that Auburn qb I saw against Oklahoma sucked. If he's still their qb he's nowhere near as good as Diego Pavia. I know it's because they're Vanderbilt but I just can't see why Vanderbilt is a 7 point underdog against a team that's only won 3 games. Going with Vandy.

One last thing if Oklahoma's offense can't score more than 14 points against Maine I will lmao.

I have no dog in the fight here but I don’t like tOSU so rooting for PS. Would rather have them in the playoff over the Ohio team. I also like Franklin as a coach. He deserves a shot but he hasn’t been able to get over the hump.

Because he isn't good enough. I admit I post this to much, but Penn State keeps backing into an elite bowl without beating anyone. I think Franklin is arrogant. I don't mind Ohio State.
 
tOSU vs PSU: I will take PSU to give the bucks there second loss of the season

Ole Miss vs R-Kansas: I'll take Arky straight up

Vandy vs Auburn: Vandy. Unless Pavia sits out due to injury

Oregon vs Michigan: Interesting game. Sherrone Moore, the blowU ex, is a pretty sorry ass coach from what I have seen. Harbaugh took several years to build that program and the blowU ex is about to drive it straight into the ground. Give me Oregon.

Aggies vs S Carolina: I think aggies lose. I don't think the scrawny QB, Reed, will last very much longer without being injured.
 
Until Penn St does something I can’t buy in..Ohio St

Auburn over Vandy and I think they cover

I have a healthy respect for South Carolina. I’ve been there at a night game and it’s no joke. They have a great defense but have tended to struggle on offense. If we don’t give them short fields and can win the turnover battle I think we win..strange crap happens in that place. If we win this one it gets real.
 
Well I've done pretty good this week
Ohio State over Penn State ✓
Vanderbilt over Auburn ✓

I didn't pick a winner on SMU/ Pittsburgh or aggies/ South Carolina. That means whoever wins I win.
 
I don't know who is play calling for Michigan.... but that dude is single handedly tanking the Michigan vs Oregon game.

Bitter football fan moment here:

All credit to Georgia's defense & gameplan, they outplayed & outcoached us. But still... without handing them the ball inside the red zone umpteen times, we should have won that game. Ok, I feel better now.

Oh look, we didn't lose today!!!

The mighty Commodores are now 6/3. Look given our schedule I really need for Vanderbilt to be put back in the top 25. I worry that Tennessee will jump us next week the first playoff poll is next week.

I beg to differ sir..
Thumped is a little harsh. We pretty much handed them the ball gag and bent over in the first half. Once our QB realized they weren’t giants, we held our own. Just could get out of the hole we dug to start with.
 
Pleased as punch to see tOSU beat Penn State today. Mostly because I had an old roommate who was a pSU grad. He moved to Texas from Pennsylvania and became a pretend cowboy…hat, boots and fake southern drawl. Even became a HR&L committee member.

Oh, and he was a Democratic Party shill with a distain for conservatives. Irony was, he worked in the oil biz and owned a fully stocked gun safe stocked with every imaginable rifle, pistol, etc. He may have even had a grenade launcher for all I know. Couldn’t talk politics with him…he’d fly off the handle and start shouting if you disagreed with his opinion.

I'm watching the Aggie/South Carolina game. Penn State is now 1/13 against to 5 opponents since Franklin took over 11 years ago.

Btw the aggies are losing to South Carolina 17/6 midway thru the 2q

That last hit by aggie might not be a penalty, but it’s still dirty. The kid could be seriously hurt by that.

Tied up 20-20 at the half. The gamecocks are doing everything they can to keep aggie in this game.

They’ve been border line cheap shot artists all year. That hit on Sellers by 5 was way dirty. SC o line needs to hit him with 2 or 3 chop blocks in a row.

Yep. 27-20 now. I think atm just got hosed on that 3rd down placement…but, what do I know? 😝
