Beto was in McAllen for his highly touted (or as highly touted as you can be on CNN) CNN town hall... and, according to The Monitor, the local lib rag that doubles as our paper, O'Roarke drew 1,000 "enthusiastic" fans to the brand spanking new Bert Ogden Arena. A local GOP buddy of mine went and he thought that number was closer to 500..
Regardless, if Beto cannot draw more than 1,000 fans 4 days before early voting starts in the bluest area in the state of Texas, I am a bit more skeptical of this Blue Wave than I already was.....
