Biden fear mongering Covid hoax No. 2

just got back from another cruise. The news channels available on the ship are MSNBC, Fox And BBC. I got to see the hilarious punking of Biden on his televised Christmas message wher he took calls(dumbshit that he is....) and the guy calls and says blah, blah blah and then ended it saying "way to go Brandon"....and Biden smiled and says..."I could not agree more....way to go Brandon". MSNBC never reported that, and I just saw it that one time on FOX....But the BBC ran with it....kept showing it....and when they quit showing it they ran it constantly on their crawler.

The rest of the world is astonished with the dementia of Biden, but more than that, they are worried about who is running this country.......I dont often agree with the thinking of Euros, but I am worried about the same thing.

I tested positive for Covid this morning. So far it is nothing too severe. I have a low-grade fever, cough, a burning sensation breathing through my nose and generally just don't feel good and I don't have much energy. I just got off of the phone with Teladoc. I asked the doctor if he could prescribe Monoclonal, but he said that is typically only prescribed for people over 65 and who are having severe symptoms. He called in a prescription for my cough and recommended that I take Tylenol and/or Advil, Dayquil/Nyquil and a nasal spray. He said the symptoms should go away in 7-10 days. It sucks. My son and his GF, both who are 23 and live with me, have it too. It is kicking their butts. No one should want this.

That sucks MM. Sorry to hear that and wish you and your family a speedy recovery. It’s such BS that most docs aren’t treating this but rather telling you to rest, hydrate and wait it out. I had to go to 3 docs just to get ivermectin prescribed. By that time I was already negative but he told me the symptoms could last 6-8 weeks or longer so I went ahead and treated it. Got my smell back in 4 days or so and the other intermittent symptoms subsided within the same window. My wife still has issues with her smell but that’s actually a blessing as I can clear a room.

It all became clear to me when I picked up the prescriptions for both my wife and I, along with refills for her asthma meds and it was around $60 total. No money in treating it compared to the global, never ending subscription plan that big pharma has half the world lapping up.

Ivermectin is at your local feed store just look online for correct dosage or don’t it’s everyone’s personal decision but what can it hurt? Not sure why he couldn’t prescribe a z pack?

MM your doctor want you to conquer this by herd immunity it sounds like. Take some ivermectin, put a piece of leather in your mouth and you’ll feel better in a couple of days

I asked him about Ivermectin. His response was that there are no clinical studies that shows that it is effective in treating Covid. He did not recommend it.

Get well soon brother! I had it back in March and it kicked my ass really bad. I'm 35 and in good health. It was a lot worse than what I was expecting.

I asked my doctor about a Z pack when I got covid and he said a Z pack does no good against viral infections.

are you seeing any difference in symptoms between vaccinated and unvaccinated people?

also, did they tell you if you got the Omicron strain?

Thank you, hookem365. The home test does not recognize what strain that you have. Both my son and his GF have had pretty rough time and they're both vaccinated. I am not vaccinated, nor do I plan to take the vaccine. Once I get past this, my natural antibodies should be around 15x better than the vaccine.

My 35 yo daughter got the Infusion a few weeks ago. Believes that definitely made a difference in feeling better faster.

I plan on asking my doctor on his plan of action for patients w the virus. I know someone who is in the ICU on a ventilator. The attending physician would not prescribe ivermectin nor an infusion, despite my unvaccinated friend asking for it. The doc was acting perturbed bc of him being unvaccinated.

Sounds like an asshole that was bought by big pharma while getting a C+ in medical school

Best of luck to you MM....Take it as easy as you can. That goofy virus can pass by with little to no effect......or it can turn south in a damned hurry. I hope you have the former experience....

Get well soon MM. Hate to hear that you and your son and his GF are all dealing with it at the same time. Total BS that Aetna doesn't cover Monoclonal treatments. That's because the government directs them to conditionally exclude many highly effective therapeutic treatments in exchange for 100% reimbursements for vaccines, ventilators, boosters, etc. The big health insurance companies have become defacto agents of the government. It's really no longer insurance in the traditional sense where the law of large numbers, risk assessments and actuarial principles are applied. It's now driven by how much will the government reimburse. I know about this because I work in this industry.

Many people don't realize that Trump's Operation Warp speed was two fold in nature. The first objective was developing the vaccines to help fight the spread. The second phase was to implement Operation Warp speed to build up and implement successful therapeutics like Monoclonal Antibodies (Regeneron treatment) and Ivermectin. Unfortunately, dipshit Joe and the socialist dems did away with Operation Warp speed with the exception of the vaccines, Once the Republicans take back Congress they need to insist that Operation Warp speed for these treatments is implemented immediately with full reimbursements and funding for them just like the vaccines. Nobody who gets this disease should be prevented from receiving these highly effective treatments.

MM, on the bright side, once you recover you will have super strong natural immunity that no vaccine will ever come close to matching!

All the best to you my friend. Keep us updated on how you're doing.

In @LonghornMM absence I’ll be handling Mod duties so any outbursts from resident Aggie regarding No. 1 recruiting title, winning halftime rhetoric or cheering on a conference foe bowl game victory, as if it is somehow a victory for your own team won’t be tolerated. However, Politics and Biden bashing are encouraged.
Bell - is this an Alexander Haig "I'm in charge" situation? Has there been a lawful transition of power? I'm concerned about maintaining the integrity of the Orangebloods republic. :)

Belldozer - Have you run this by Sholz? I'd like to get his opinion of you being the interim mod.

Best wishes MM - get well soon!

Funny you say that, and you may remember this but back when Will Muschamp was at Texas and the whole Coach in Waiting thing was in full swing and causing alot angst among the fanbase, at that time I seized the moment and anointed myself the Mod In Waiting on here much to Scholz's dismay I might add. So I did try to antagonize him with that. I would tell him such things as "If a Sooner db can go on to become the all time Great UT Head coach who is to say I can't do the same thing as a Mod here on this board?"

To Scholz' credit, he's as big a UT fan as there is. He's also as big of a bleeding heart liberal as there is and what I'd give to have had some back and forths with him over the events of the Trump Presidency, Covid and now the Biden Presidency. There really aren't many arguers left over here.

I loved it any time an unsuspecting Ag would post here. Wouldn't matter what they said - I hope all babies are healthy - Scholz would unleash holy hell. Come back Scholz!

MM, keep feeding vitamins to your immune system and it will do what it has always done.

I apparently got the original 'rona strain in Oct/ Nov 2019 according to an antibodies test earlier this year and just got retested last week. Still had a trace of antibodies after 2yrs while the "vax" fades after a few months. 🖕🖕
Kick some kung-flu butt and I'll share with you how to get a vax passport for work.

Thanks Fresh. Not feeling well at all today. Low grade fever, burning in my nostrils when I breathe, sore throat, achy, no energy, hot/cold and have a clammy sweat. I so wish that I could get a Monoclonal infusion. I'm taking Nyquil/Dayquil, Azelastine nose spray, Benzonatate and Ibuprofen. As bad as I feel, it's just the inconvenience of it all. I can't do the stuff that I want to do. Basically, I'm holed up in my house waiting for this to run its course.

Yessir, strange how this virus affects people to both ends of the severity spectrum. Unfortunately, I hear the Regeneron treatment is pretty much wiped out in the SA-Austin area until the next shipment in a couple weeks. Not saying there are none, just gonna be hard to find. Best of luck brother

Remember this date… Dec 28, 2021. A day that will go down in infamy… The Orangebloods’ Insurrection has begun. A Sooner in charge of the henhouse. Oh, the humanity… 😲

The CCP mouthpiece, Dr Wen, is changing her tune. Must mean CNNCCP will begin to deemphasize Covid and move onto something else.

LOL this is only fitting considering Fauci's countless contributions to human safety thru this whole Covid fiasco, let's reward him with a $350,000/yr. retirement package when he retires. The most ever for a Federal Employee.
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...-federal-government-history-350-000-year.html
A key internal control for any business/organization is to force employees to take annual vacation. The idea is that if employees never leave the work place, they will be in a position to continue to hide their malfeasance.
Fauci is 81 with no sign of retiring. Makes me wonder whether all of the skeletons will only be uncovered once he leaves or dies when it's too late for him to face personal percussions.
