Kate Upton?

Not so sure I agree with all of this mess about some of the teams listed.
Michigan- Will be better than you think
Auburn- Will be better than you think
Texas- We will see what happens when they play good teams after Notre Dame film. I think they have a tremendous shot at winning conference because there aren't many good teams in the conference.
Georgia- I have no idea. Thinking they will get better as season goes.
Florida St- I think is really good and will be a playoff team.
My prediction for playoff teams: Alabama, Florida St, Ohio St, and wildcard between Texas, Clemson, or Houston

Conferences:
SEC hasn't looked great but they are still going to be better than others in the end.
Big 10 second...could be 1st
ACC
Big 12
Pac 12

LOL... I didnt even stop to wonder if she had a name..... i was dumbstruck... loss of blood flow to the brain I guess.. but the better question is - Does it matter WHO it is as long as they look and dress like that? lmao

You may be correct but if OU wins it could be the start to Mayfields Cinderella story Heisman year

Comparing Mayfield to Cinderella is an apt description. I'll have to keep that in mind. Please stop pumping the Mayfield heisman campaign propaganda over here. It's only two weeks into the season so of course anyone can get into the discussion at this point, and a big win against tOSU would help. To this point though, Mayfield has done nothing heisman worthy - especially in losing to UH. As I pointed out elsewhere, SB has just as good of stats as BM (and a huge primetime win to his name). Neither of them are heisman candidates.

Well I know one thing the SEC may end up the number one conference again but you aggies won't make any meaningful contribution to it.

Texas also tops the Big 12 power ranking. What happened to sooner fans updating on these polls, as they were doing, before the season started? Well, I'll do it.

WeAreTexas, I think Buechele has all the makings of being a really good qb which will help your offense out tremendously but I just noticed that your D is still ranked lower tier with a ranking of 106th after 2 weeks. Now a lot can happen and it's still early but your D finished ranked 107th last year and Bedford still looks shaky and you haven't even hit the meat of your schedule. So while I do believe Buechele and Gilbert can help out, your D needs to get shored up to build on this early season success in my opinion.

I don't have a good read on us this year. I do think our defense is significantly better, but I'm not sold on our offense...specifically Trevor Knight. I think our running game is better. I think this weekend will tell a lot about A&M because I do think Auburn is a pretty good team this year. That SEC wasn't about A&M, it was about the conference. Texas doesn't represent the entire conference, hence that is why I put that conference lower because there aren't that many good teams there. In fact you have to say Texas looks good, OU is still a mystery and everyone else is just ok to bad.

You need to know her name if you get lucky.

Bedford had the #1 defense in the Big 12, in 2014, so I know he has the ability to get us back on top. I don't like our 3 man front, because we don't the players to succeed in a 3 man front, FOR NOW (expect that to change, by next year); but other than that, I'm not concerned.

You say we haven't got into the meat of our schedule, but Notre Dame may be the best team we play all year. I'm surely not worried about OU's watered down OL and secondary, that got abused by Houston. I think Bedford will do well against OU, again. I think Baylor and Tech are going to put up points, but I'm not concerned with the rest of the Big 12. Like 2014, Bedford will once again, have the Texas defense, at the top of the Big 12.

Do you think it would be accurate to say that Bedford benefitted by inheriting Mack's recruited talent and has not recruited as well since he has been here? Or is it more scheme? Most people think both.

Lol! belldozer, who is most? I think you made that up, just to discredit, Bedford. Most Texas fans are not saying that. You're a funny fella. He coached them.

Texas is recruiting very well, and his first class is now sophomores, so what are you talking about? What he had was veteran leadership and experience. It's coming...Texas defense is on the rise. Who in the Big 12 is better? KSU? OU doesn't have more talent on defense, and they sure don't have a good DC.

OU has a lot of leaks, will OU be able to seal them. OU'S OL, WR's, and defense, look bad. That secondary is atrocious. That's what most people are saying.

The Texas defense has some sick talent, and they are still just growing up. I don't care about rankings, 80% of the teams ahead of us don't have our talent nor have the faced a team on the level of Notre Dame. Talk to me about rankings at the end of the season, not enough games have been played to get a good picture of what we have this year.

Let's face it as a whole the Big XII plays terrible defense. But you know what we've got some great young talent at Texas. And we've got a solid dc with a good staff. I think with every game these freshman and sophomores are getting better. We have the potential to have a top notch defense for the next few years and I mean on a national level not just a Big XII level. We keep taking it to the next level on defense and we just might start to dominate the Big XII. Seriously.

And I'll tell you what else about the Big XII. I have zero faith in our other non con games this week. I think well win at Cal on Saturday. And I think WV should beat BYU next Saturday. But I have zero faith in the sooner state. I'm even giving SMU a decent shot at beating TCU next week.

I said last week that OSU was a mediocre team last year. If they can't finish the job against somebody like Central Michigan, they won't get it done against Pitt even though the game is in Stillwater.

As for OK. Actually OK probably has a good defense. But no go to receivers means no win against the buckeyes. No go to receivers means their defense can unload on Samaje Perine and the women beater. And speaking of Joe Mixon this kid was supposed to be a 5* recruit the crown jewel of their recruiting class. That's probably the only reason they brought him back. But I've watched him for two years and he hasn't shown me anything. I think their defense will hold them off for a half but their offensive ineptitude will do them in. The worst loss of the Stoops era was their nc loss to Southern Cal, 36 points. Urban Meyer has built a monster at tOSU, they don't rebuild, they reload. If i'm wrong I will gladly man up I still want to see the Big XII do something. But I don't think it's going to happen. The worst loss of the Stoops era

tOSU 44
OK 7

I think OU scores more than 7, but I still don't think it is close. Currently the line is Ohio State -1.5. I think Ohio State covers and then some.

Mykel Jones. Remember that name OUinCali. You will be seeing the back of his jersey quite often as he's headed to the endzone, starting this weekend.

Texas D is ranked 50th in total D after 2 weeks, currently tied at 10th for sacks. Oklahoma is 76th in total D...

I'm staying away from this game as far as betting. I still don't know what Ohio State has this year. My gut is that Ohio St will win by 10-14 points. OU will be fired up and ready to go for this one, so I'm out.

LOL!
Ohio State will be running up the score.
"I think they really have a very basic defense," Kendall told Sooner Sports TV. "I think we can go out there...I mean [starting quarterback] Baker [Mayfield], he'll light them up. I'm really looking forward to it. If my number is called, I think I can do the same. I'm really looking forward to the game. It's going to be really exciting."

Outside of Texas and maybe WVU, the rest of the Big 12 is a joke. Not to say Texas couldn't lose to one of these jokes, but they are still the cream of the crop in this conference.

I think defensive stats can be misleading. In a pass happy conference like the Big 12, it will be very difficult to statistically have a great D in terms of yards per game....unless you have a ground and pound type O like Texas had in 2014. I think scoring defense is much more important. Now that Texas is running a more up tempo style your defense will be on the field much longer. It is just a fact, so they will fatigue more making depth an issue. I have no idea about your depth but you will need it if you will be on the field that much. It seems like people forget that after all those quick strikes, whether it be a kick-off return, punt return, or post route, the defense is called on immediately to come back onto the field. You guys should be able to control some clock with your RB's. If so, your D could be very good also, but if not it could struggle at times. It is a trade off.

Guess you haven't paid much attention to the first two games Joe. Texas has the ability to score quick are grind it out with a power run package. They can sustain long drives to rest the defense. They can control the game without controlling the TOP.

Scoring defense is important in certain games, it sure helped Houston last night... But, total D tells the story. Texas was top 25 Chucks first year in total D, they look much closer to that at this point based on athleticism.
