Board is quiet for a gameday.

Even though he said it was for the tie-breaker, I still think it was poor sportsmanship, and I think he'll pay a price for that down the road.
The only reason this came into play was because of the personal foul cheap shot on OU for hammering the defenseless BU deep snapper. Riley is a punk fior teaching his players to take cheap shots when the game is out of reach. OU, the alma mater of Joe Mixon, crying about sportsmanship - that is rich. The QB whisperer has a QB problem, and doesn’t know what to do - the genius label is gone.

I'm going to assume you got your load on after the game that brought the OU vs. BU series record to 28-4, and will otherwise disregard your pathetic post.

OU is on it's way to the SEC anyway. We don't have time for 3rd rate programs like yours.

Hahaha. You’ll fit in well over there. You got your ass severely kicked, and your only response is SEC!!! Now whose post is pathetic??? “Third rate program” 27, OU 14 - SOONER MAGIC!

Haha. Diadevic, I know you're usually a much more level-headed poster than your first reply to me, and I was actually trolling you a little (forgive me), with everything except that maybe you had celebrated the win too much.

I will say that Riley runs a pretty clean ship, and I don't think he teaches players to take cheap shots. He may not pass up a future opportunity to get after BU a little for the FG though. I guess we'll see.

But anyway.. congrats to you personally on the win. Much respect for hanging in there with an underdog program through thick and thin. I know you love the Bears, and live and die on every play with them, and that's pretty cool. You and I are similar in that regard (my pro team is the Cardinals (for the last 45 years, not just since Murray joined that sad sack franchise of course)).

Take care my friend.

45 years? From the older Cards, I remember Stump Mitchell, Neil Lomax, Ottis Anderson and Jay Novacek (before he went to the good guys).

Its hard to have a rivalry without the hate, and you just made it hard to hate you Crimson Warrior! FWIW - my son in law is an OU grad and I just have to keep my mouth shut for family stability! Good luck the rest of the year.

wow.. there you go.

My earliest football memory is watching, on a grainy black and white TV, WAS vs. STL on Monday night football. I think it was 1975 or 1976. Hart threw a winning TD pass to Gray at the end of the game, but the officials talked for about 15 minutes about if Gray was inbounds or not before finally awarding the TD.

and good call @westx. Stump, Lomax and Anderson were all great players that unfortunately had most of their careers wasted by bad ownership. Stilled loved watching them though. Good stuff guys!
