Two sources with knowledge of the situation have confirmed with Orangebloods that Texas defensive backs coach Chris Vaughn will not return to the Texas coaching staff in 2016.
A third source called the situation "fluid", but confirmed that discussion of Vaughn leaving the program is currently ongoing, but we have zero reasons to believe our other sources are wrong, as both of them have told us that the move is going to occur and will be announced in the coming days.
Vaughn has been with the Longhorns program since January of 2014 when he joined Charlie Strong's initial coaching staff. A year ago, he was named as one of the top 25 recruiters in the nation by Rivals.com.
We're working on more details and will have more later in the War Room
