I thought this was an excellent road win. TCU is better than advertised, imo. They had 5 defensive players out for the last couple of games and some all season. Daniels is their top defensive guy and he has been out until yesterday. I think 4 of the 5 players back for this game were from the defensive front and one was in the secondary. I wouldn't say this is what caused them to lose to SMU, but it was a factor. It is what it is and injuries are a part of the game. I also like TCU coaches and offense. Duggan the QB is good, tough and competitive and Evans is damn good. I predict they will have their way with Tech (who beat WV yesterday) next week and will finish there season very solid.
My thoughts:
- X Worthy, the freshman, has been reading the press clippings and was slapped with some reality against TCU. 3 dropped passes
- People mention Casey's bad game, but it wasn't that bad. The dropped passes were pretty impactful drive killers. We will see how TCU's healthier defense continues the season and re-evaluate Casey's performance for this game later.
- Bijan was great
-Our defense played well. It wasn't dominant, but a little above average at least.
-My biggest knocks against Texas yesterday was going for it on 4th at the goal line and the dropped passes.
