Is Texas appealing Broughton's targeting call from the Vandy game?
Ohio State filed an appeal to the Big Ten Conference regarding Arvell Reese’s ejection for targeting late in the fourth quarter, and it was ruled that the play was not targeting.
The conference went to the NCAA Football Secretary Rules Editor and after review, the call that was made on the field against the Cornhuskers was reversed. Reese will now be available for the entirety of the game against Penn State on Nov. 2 instead of having to serve a suspension for the first half of the contest. Reese was ejected on the Cornhuskers’ final drive of the game for a hit on wide receiver Jahmal Banks that was reviewed extensively by the officiating crew on Saturday.
