Multiple sources have told Orangebloods.com that there will be a coaching shake-up among the Texas football staff after Charlie Strong's first year in Austin.

Strong is not expected to retain tight ends coach Bruce Chambers or wide receivers coach Les Koenning for the 2015 season, sources indicated on Wednesday.

The only holdover from Mack Brown's staff, Chambers just finished his 17th season at Texas.

When reached on Wednesday by Orangebloods.com's Anwar Richardson, Chambers did not confirm or deny the news, saying only "news travels fast."

Koenning was in his first year at Texas after coming from Mississippi State earlier this year. Koenning is a former Longhorn receiver.

"Les and Bruce are both good men and good football coaches," Strong said. "It's unfortunate that it didn't work out, but I just feel like we need to make a change and head in a different direction in their positions. We wish them the best."

A national search for their replacements will begin immediately.
