As we've been reporting for the last few months - and supplemented in last week's War Room - soon-to-be RS SR CB Bryson Echols will be transferring after he receives his undergraduate degree from Texas in May. He will not participate in Spring football.
Echols is a very good, instinctive and aggressive player who found himself in limbo following the 2015 season as new talent emerged in the defensive backfield. He posted the following message tonight on Twitter. Texas fans should wish Echols the best of luck in his next phase. As a graduate transfer, he'll be free to explore all options while retaining one more year of eligibility and working toward a Master's degree elsewhere.
