Burnt Orange....what happened

I' m sorry if this subject has been covered, but I don't recall seeing it, as far as providing the answers and history. What happened to the burnt orange color. our current orange is not burnt at all, and hasn't been for years. It was our signature...unique. Why was it discontinued and why hasn't it been brought back. I don't know anyone who doesn't long for the original....
