Texas gonna need a second coming of Randy McEachern with the news out now about both Ewers and Card. Shade of 1977 and the mythical run at a championship under our third string QB. He, too, had a Heisman candidate running back to aid him and a pretty salty defense, too. Hoping our defense can back up whomever steps in under center. Looks like we have a pretty good team, and the coaching is there to make a run. Unlike what Randy faced, hopefully, our next QB won’t have to pull us through for an entire season. Just until Ewers and Card get back healthy.
