With all the talk of Quinn, play calling, etc I’m surprised I haven’t seen more comments on Williams. I’m not usually one to point fingers at players but there’s a difference between playing better when the ball is snapped and pulling your head out in general.
Can was manhandled most of the game yesterday (and previous games). He was constantly beaten or worse, pushed back into Quinn. But worse than that though, I’d like to know how many drive killing illegal procedure calls he’s had. It’s easy to go after the low hanging fruit of a QB but he’s killed us in the trenches.
