Can the CFP ever get away from playing in NFL stadiums?

I for one think all CFP games should be played in non-NFL stadiums.

The Rose Bowl should be the site for the national championship every year.

All CFP games should be played at the top seeded CFP team’s home stadium until the semi-finals.

The semi-final games could be played at the Cotton Bowl (the old one in Dallas not Jerryworld) and the Citrus Bowl (in Orlando).

Why is that so hard to do? (money is obviously one thing)

I would love to hear other suggestions for the semi-final sites, but given that the best high school athletes come out of Cali, Texas, and Florida, it makes a ton of sense to hold the 3 bowl games across those states in stadiums these kids wouldn’t have already gone to for a NFL game.
