this here song is about
well its about when your woman catches you
yeah, she catches you running around town
and getting into all kind of strange yeah
and you say "baby please don't put me out with the dogs"

"Jonathan Blue asked the judge to allow him to file evidence under seal “unless it has already become public knowledge” as it would be “detrimental to the children” and “most assuredly affect the public perception and opinion of Tracy Blue.”"

What is now public knowledge. Rumors certainly should not constitute being public. A lot of accusations are flying around. Specific to Coach Strong is some clothes and a watch. That might lead the witness in public debate but that's it.

"In addition, Oldfather requests “the Movado watch given” to Strong by Tracy Blue and all clothing and jewelry she gave to him. The motion also requests Strong’s calendars from 2012 to present and all records of his air travel, including tickets and flight confirmations."

Yeah this might be a little hard to explain to Strong's wife if true. I hope this is all bs considering Strong presents himself as a strong family man.

Not in any way trying to impugn Coach Strong, but why would the husband ask for phone records from 2012 to present? Does he believe there is still communication between Strong and his wife?

Having never been divorced, my knowledge in all this is pretty nominal. Is this a standard type request in a divorce proceeding?

Scholz he ought to be okay if proven to be true. I didn't see adultery listed on the core value no-no list.

I believe your concern except for the fact that you can barely contain your glee with this story, okie.
Except for the fact that from an OU perspective, I want Coach Strong to stay at Texas. Last year's RRS not withstanding (I still have disbelief that game ever took place even though I was in attendance and watched the carnage), I don't believe Coach Strong is the man for the job. Which is a 180 for me from even this time last year. Outside of a great recruiting class, the Texas program is in trouble from the outside looking in. Overhauling of a staff before the beginning of his third year coupled with an inability to land the coaches he first wanted doesn't sound like a stable program. Add to that an outside distraction that might bring dishonor to the program, and you have a recipe for the BOR to remove Strong early. And then you might get a coach who can consistently beat OU, especially with the wealth of talent on hand. :)

Plus, outside of a rare few people on this earth (Johnny Manziel and Cam Newton types), I rarely ever root for bad things to happen. I 100% admire Coach Strong and his philosophies. I think he's a great human with a great story. Whether he's successful at Texas as the head coach or not, I'll still follow him and believe in him.

You very well may be right but careful what you wish for. Maybe we fixed the offensive woes this offseason with the new staff coming in. I've read several sources saying we're a QB away. But maybe Strong is in over his head. Maybe he can't run a big time program with all of the hires and management involved. We shall see.

I thought okies supported such things like when $witzer was banging his asst coach's wife? Lacewell?
That's between Switzer and Lacewell (and obviously the families involved). I'm not making any judgments calls on Strong either, especially since there's no evidence he had an affair with her. And if he did, that's between those families. Mine is just a question concerning the proceedings.

Although for the record, yes, I frown on infidelity as a rule. I've never cheated on a girlfriend, much less my wife of 21 years+.

No Scholz, Switzer never got on a soap box touting his sainthood. Everyone knew about Switzer's questionable character but he was never a hypocrite and lying about respecting women. Core values Charlie was disrespecting his wife and kids.
Scholz if this were Stoops or Sumlin you would be all over this news.

I've heard the same thing about the offense. And Gilbert is a Briles protégé. He'll know how to direct an offense.

You're assuming that he had an affair without any evidence. Bye bye!

Yes Scholz as MisterMises alluded to, Switzee wasn't selling recruits on a "core value" belief and going on National TV promoting it etc. these type of allegations don't just magically appear out of nowhere for no reason. No if Strong was indeed giving her Bologna pony rides in addition to the Wicklne "misunderstanding" on top of the 6-7 and 6-6. I'm not sure Strong will be able to stay out of his own way. It will be interesting to see if this gets swept away or if it's allowed to fester.

Strong could come out with some serious egg on his face if some kind of affair is drug out in court. That being said win some games and the public will easily move on.

In nasty divorce proceedings, its actually quite common for allegations to appear out of no where. But we are getting ahead of ourselves, because that hasn't even happened yet. The husband's attorney has asked to be given Strong's cell phone, so he can review what ever texts are there. His stated reason is to gather evidence that the wife isn't fit to be a mother. You can read between the lines and make assumptions about what he is hoping to find, but thats just it, he is hoping he'll find something. He is searching for evidence, he doesn't have it. Who knows what will come of this, but don't just assume because the guy's attorney is looking for evidence, that any such evidence exists.

Gracias. Innocent until proven guilty.

A) I don't think Strong has sold himself as a "saint", Moses, but you were never one to let a little thing like honesty or common sense get in your way.

B) It must be nice to never hold yourself to higher standard. If you're always in the gutter, you can never be held to account, amirite?

That said, if he did commit adultery, I'll call him out on it. Not jumping to that conclusion just yet. Of course you are. No surprise.

So it's "If" with you but you're already assuming it's true? Of course. Another dishonest, unintelligent $ooner (redundant).

I don't know Scholz but naming specific items allegedly given to Coach Strong by the subjectin question sure opens the door of probability up for me at least. Giving gifts like that is not really normal behavior for "friends"

Of course. He must be guilty. There's never any stretching of the truth in a divorce proceeding. You go ahead and assume his guilt before knowing the facts though. Very intelligent and honest of you. But to be expected.

I agree let's let the facts present themselves but the initial allegations ain't looking too good for Coach core value.

A) You're a liar. No allegations.
B) It's better than being Coach Wifebeater.

you can assume that this attorney is hoping to find some evidence of the wife being unfaithful, but who knows what that could be. Maybe she was propositioning Strong and he declined.? Maybe there a couple of nude pictures sent by the wife? There is also the possibility that this cell phone has evidence of unspeakable acts of depravity, but just as likely, there is nothing at all. Either way, there are no allegations. This is all just assumptions based on assumptions.

Yes and besides we all get gifts from our married friends wives (allegedly) totally normal.
Are you married Bell? Oh nevermind I really don't care. I'm married and I can tell you this and maybe Coach Strong's wife is oblivious to what he wears or buys etc.. If I came home with a Movado and any new attire my wife would notice quickly. I'm going to give Strong the benefit of the doubt until I hear some evidence that he was screwing around. Anyone can claim anything period.

Divorce / family law is very far my area of expertise, either personally or professionally, but if you're a multimillionaire looking to play hardball in your divorce (maybe to reduce alimony payments, if any part of that determination hinges on infidelity, or maybe to put pressure on your spouse to accept a less favorable distribution of assets?), making -- and leaking -- such a discovery request involving a figure of some prominence (e.g., head football coach at a major college program) would be a good way to drag your spouse's name through the mud in the media, regardless of whether that person has any relevant info / evidence.

Remember that the husband is also seeking discovery from seven other people. Anything is possible: maybe Charlie hit it -- or maybe seeking a subpoena for Charlie is the husband's vehicle for drawing much greater public attention to all of the discovery that goes on in the case than would have otherwise been possible. We'll see.

How many friends you have that are worth a couple hundred million dollars? What's normal for your friends might not be normal for friends like that.

The husband is throwing sh#$ at the wall to embarrass the wife as one step of breaking her will to fight for $ and custody. We'll see if anything sticks.

Hook 'em

What I don't get is why wouldn't the courts ask the UL for his phone records? I'm only assuming they paid for his phone and he possibly had to turn in expense reports etc..Anyways hope all this get's cleared up before the season starts.

Yes and besides we all get gifts from our married friends wives (allegedly) totally normal.
We'll let's look at the gifts the husband brought into play:

Some clothes. The husband runs a huge hedge fund. Perhaps it was golf clothes with her husbands company name embroidered on it. Very normal gift.

A Movado watch. The most expensive Movado watches for men run between 1 and 2 grand. Nasser AL Rasheed gave Mack brown a rolex daytona. That's an 11-15,000 $ watch. Those people are Uber rich, a thousand bucks for a watch is a freaking stocking stuffer gift for them.

I'm a bit of a watch geek and I have looked at hundreds of pics of charlie and he isn't wearing a Movado in any of his photos. So that means the watch is at home........with his wife.......who obviously knows about the gift. Rich people who want access to something, like a football program, give nice gifts to those in charge so they can have that access. A thousand dollar watch is a small gift from someone with that sort of net worth.

Honestly I think the husband is looking for something, anything, to make his wife look bad. I am positive that Charlie is not the only male friend that he has or will subpoena to try and find dirt on his wife. You throw sh!t up against the wall and see what sticks.
