Charlie Strong spent a long time at Silsbee High School today checking in on top OL target Patrick Hudson.
Per a source, I'm told it was a "very good" visit and Hudson "is very interested" in Texas. Strong was scheduled to meet with Hudson and his mother tonight. That meeting will be huge because Hudson's mother was not able to accompany him during his midweek official visit to Texas last night.
From what I've been told, Hudson's mother is very much pro-Baylor right now, but that's mostly because the Baylor coaching staff is really the only ones she has talked to. If Strong can go in tonight and make a good impression, this one could get very interesting.
Hudson visited Georgia last weekend. I'm told he had on Georgia gear at school today but I don't expect UGA to be much of a factor at all. He's very close with his family (his father passed away in the fall) so I expect him to stay much closer to home, meaning it'll be either Baylor or Texas.

Still hoping to get more details on the visit at some point today, but I have heard from one person that things went very well.
