With all the losses last week I thought we would move up in the top 15 and I was right we came in at #15. I don't think PS has any business being ranked ahead of us but we have a chance to correct that before the seasons over.
I know some people on here don't like Joel Klatt but i enjoy his podcasts when the playoff committee poll comes out. Unlike espn he tells you has the most pull on the pc and now that our horns are on the way back up there's reason for us to pay attention. He was saying that Frank Beamer the former VT coach has been influencing to have as many ACC teams in the poll as possible. JK has pointed out correctly that with the exception of Clemson the ACC blows. He said that Clemson would roll BC and he was right. He also said that ND will put Syracuse in their place and I agree with him. That said Clemson is an outstanding, certain playoff team it's not their fault the competition is mediocre.
I especially liked his SEC assessment. He said that when an SEC team loses two games the pc gives them credit because it's the SEC. Wrong. JK is right KY and MSS don't deserve to ranked and imo neither does FL.
I look at the top 4 and I think it's a certainty that the current top 4 will finish that way. Bama and Clemson are a lock and so is the university without sin. And I don't think the buckeyes will beat MI this year.
What's exciting going into these last two weeks is the jockeying for the remaining spots in the NY6. I'm certain that Clemson will be the only ACC team that gets in. I'm also certain that the little ten will only have two the f***eyes and the wolverines. The Big XII won't make the playoffs but they will have two maybe even three teams in the NY6 don't laugh it can happen. The SEC will have 3 and as awful as the Pac XII is this year there is a chance that they could get two teams in. It would take to long to explain all the scenarios so I'm going to sit back, watch and enjoy.
And best of all our longhorns are in the mix. It's about damn time.
