This country has sneaked through the last 100 years. They were our ally during WWII only because of Japan. After they have their communist revolution they secretly fight the US in Korea and to a lesser extent Vietnam. During Cold War we are so fearful of the USSR that we turn a blind eye to their technology theft and actions as they grow their economy. We bend over backwards when ever possible to prevent them from being an opponent.
Now they are a giant that can take us down. Not through invasion or military action but through the biggest weakness of a capitalist state....the economy. It's obvious that this thing is a disease that was engineered and got out on accident. The damn CHICOMs won't let us in to learn about the disease and fight it. Their backwards culture doesn't help things as we learned from SARS and now this virus.
It is only a matter of time before there is a hit to the economy as more of them get sick and can't build the cheap crap the west feeds on.
