I think the other thread got deleted for just ripping the article. You should go read it yourself on HD, but here is the summary:

aggie Chancellor John Sharp has been heavily influencing activity in aggie's football operations for about 12 months, starting with the recruitment on Kyler Murray. Sharp got involved because he over-levered the athletic department to pay for Kyle Field renovations and now oil money has evaporated. Forced Sumlin to promise playing time to Murray. Sumlin didn't want to over-promise to get Murray because he really like how Kyle Allen was progressing. After the Bama massacre, Murray's dad started blowing up about playing Murray. Then aggie's season fell apart. Sharp forced out the AD for not being on board with the idea of firing Sumlin.

Real TL;DR version - aggie gonna aggie

Mods, hopefully this doesn't break any rules. Again, go read the article yourself at HD to get the full story.
