While it seems as if all possible graduate transfer talk has centered on the quarterback position, it appears that the Longhorns could be making waves on the other side of the ball with an interior defensive lineman from the defending national champions.

Part-time Clemson Tigers defensive tackle starter Scott Pagano announced his transfer more than a week ago and after cutting down his list of potential transfer schools to seven, it appears that the Longhorns are in the mix.

According to a report from Ryan Bartow of 247, Pagano has set up his official visit schedule like this:

March 24th: Notre Dame
March 31st: Oklahoma
April 7th: Arkansas
April 14th: Texas
April 21st: Oregon

In addition to those five visits, it's also possible that he'll visit California and Nebraska on unofficial visits.

Orangebloods was able to confirm that his visit to Texas for the 14th is definitely on the books, but we have been unable to touch base with Pagano to get an idea for where Texas fits inside the group of seven schools, especially the five that he will visit, although he reported that he was looking to get closer to his home in Hawaii when news of his transfer first went public.

Over the course of the last two seasons, Pagano started four games for the Tigers at defensive tackle and has been a reliable rotation player. He recorded 20 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss and 2.0 sacks in Clemson's national championship season.

We hope to have more in tonight's War Room.
