One? In their defense, the 33 member BOR did vote to terminate the head coach, reassign the president and censure the AD.

“Art said, ‘I delegated down, and I know I shouldn’t have. And I had a system where I was the last to know, and I should have been the first to know.’ ”

This is a most damning quote. Taking Briles at face value ---- he "delegated down", which means those he delegated to are all still on the freaking payroll !!!! BOR may be "horrified" but there is still plenty of explaining to do.

The arrogance, the lies, the continuous abuse of the conference brothers, all of these sins, all must be paid for by the evil school, ut.

UT gets the most money, greatest facilities, highest rated recruits, highest paid coaches, but university of Texas at Austin is still a miserable loser.

And now you plan on blaming a great coach, a righteous man, just because he is black. Shame on UT! You always give white coaches more years than just 3, historically. But, UT is truly racist, and can't overcome this fault.

Was this a tongue in cheek thing, because no one at Baylor should be calling anyone evil. I have 4 daughters and I want them to someday go to college but I'll be damned if I will let them go to a school that turns a blind eye to rape. Not only did you fvckers turn a blind eye but you attacked the victims. If Texas is evil, than you are a bunch of devils.

Calling Texas racist? The most liberal school in Texas is about as racist as your school is innocent, not at all. Our school wants to keep Charlie, they would do anything to keep Charlie, but Charlie doesn't seem to want to be kept.

I absolutely guarantee that this was not tongue in cheek. I have gone to the Baylor site on occassion just to see what the mood was when Bryles was fired....and you cannot believe the venom spewed by this guy.....it was all UT's fault, It is sad to think that folks of this mindset are around, but there it is.

That is what 100,000 Baylor alumni want to know. Art said in the WSJ piece that responsibility flowed from the bottom up, instead of the top down. If that's the case, then there is no way that one or more (if not all) assistants knew what was going on, and also failed to report - which is what got Briles canned. If it is that bad that Briles had to go, then how can you keep the rest of the staff? The Board of Regents is under extreme fire from both sides right now, and deservedly so.
