Let me ask something do the 4 power 5 conference champions have an automatic bye?

It really chaps my hyde that Indiana and probably Penn State get in without beating anybody with a pulse.

****Please note that since 2000 Penn State is 1/24 against top 5 teams.****

Well PS will get there shot this weekend. Hoping they surprise Oregon and puts them in an at large slot.

So you want Oregon to win? Lol.
Do I want Oregon to win? Yes
The college football world needs to know that Penn State is not and doesn't deserve to considered playoff worthy.

And their head coach is an even bigger asshole than Kirby Smart who can at least claim a couple of nc to his name.

Besides there's plenty of time for us to get back to #1

No.

Boise right now is predicted to have the 4th bye. Notre the 3rd.

SEC Champ and B1G champs will have the other two byes. SMU then Big 12 Champ waiting in the wings if Boise loses
Wow Boise a top 4? A couple of things. Now that we only have 4 conferences the schedules are considerably weaker. And nowhere is this more obvious than the Big X. Michigan had a down year so this year there were only 3 teams Ohio State, Oregon, and Penn State. And this year we have Indiana. Play a non con schedule that would make Art Briles proud and chances you'll only have to play one of the three.

Oregon has played 2 of them plus a non coin game against Boise. Clearly strength of schedule isn't that important anymore.

Yeah, if I'm a middle of the road school, I'm getting myself 3 to 4 winnable games on my NC schedule. Depending if you play 8 or 9 conf. games.

4 cupcake wins and sneak out 6 conference wins and you are 10-2, without an outside shot at the playoffs.
