College Football Playoffs

Sounds like the big 10 is gonna change the rules. Which presents it’s own ethical issues
Yeah the same Bug 10 that tried to scrap their season then crapped their pants and allowed their division to start a month later than everyone else and now make a rule change to cover for it. Gosh Damn it sounds a lot like what has happened with the damn presidential election

The goal has never been putting the 4 best teams in the country in. The only thing they do most years is put 4 conference champions in.
Umm if you win your conference then chances are you are one of the 4 best teams in the country. That makes no sense what you said.

You forget that A&M fumbled right before that on a drive that was moving the ball. So Florida also got lucky.

I didn't actually watch the game and don't really care. I was just messing with the aggies because UT is a mess right now and I needed some type of enjoyment.

Not necessarily. It’s very possible to be the 2nd best team in one conference and be better than at least one of the conference champions.

for Example Florida is probably the 2nd best team in the SEC.

Who would you take if Flordia or Iowa state or OU? Most people would take Florida over both. They’d also take Flordia over whoever won the pac 12. The 4 best teams doesn’t always equal 4 conference champions. In fact most years of probably doesn’t

Rankings 5-8 will likely be
Aggy
ISU
Cincinnati
OU

If ISU beats OU, I would expect them to jump ahead of A&M. In fact, that would likely be true for Cincinnati and OU as well.

Thoughts?

This didn't age well...

Play by Play:
Longhorn Fan (pissed off that Meyer didn't agree to coach and losing recruits to OhioSt) agrees that OhioSt did'nt deserve a shot at the playoffs because they did not play enough games.

Then it is pointed out that Aggy would get into playoffs if no OhioSt and that Aggy beat Florida (second best team in SUC Conf)

Longhorn fans think about this and you know maybe we were a little rash, let Ohio St into the playoffs and then suck ass LSU Beats Florida and probably lessen Aggy biggest win in a decade.
