This game feels huge. It reminds me of the LSU game the year they won the natty. Everyone will be watching.

I think Ewers and Bijan have a monster game in front of the nationwide audience.

I read that its only the second time that Texas has hosted College Gameday since 2009. Is that accurate? Feels like Texas has had more than that throughout the years but I guess I was wrong.

Put your morning wood away.

Nobody gives a sh!t about college GameDay anymore. They've become full blown Disney trash. The day Herbstreet accused Austin of being a "cesspool" because Charlie was black and sucked as a coach and Texas wanted him fired because he sucked-- this was the day you knew Disney was about social justice bull sh!t-- and not about objective reporting.

Bad pick by the GameDay crew.
Stranger things have happened before but next weekend will most likely be a blowout. We have some great players but the team as a whole is not on the same level.

Our main goals should be to not mental ruin our young QB or break Bijan.

Bama was sleep walking yesterday. Check out the Stat line.
That’s a damn good Utah State team they played as well. We are in deep doo doo this next Saturday. Good thing is though this game doesn’t make or break our season. It will be good for the young guys to get that experience against top notch competition.

@clob94 Herbstreit was not referring to Charlie Strong. He was referring to too many hands on alumni with their hands all over the team.

I agree.

He said these people were bragging without looking at Texas accomplishments since Darrell Royal retried.

I don't agree with all of that but some of it is true.

I hate to admit it but we don't have a winning culture.

Speaking of GameDay did you hear that my boy Cris caught a lot of s*** art the way he called last night's game? He missed some plays completely. Do you know how many times I've watched him do that?

And they criticized for his blatant partisanship last night. And this isn't the first time I've watched him do that.

S**** GameDay Guys Johnson is calling the game and Klatt is just as good as Herbstreit.

After next year he won't be calling any TX games. I'm going to miss him.

Strange, Gameday coming to Austin with the game on Fox? not sure that happens often . Will Matt, Reggie and Urban also be on hand? (I know, I know Urban is alway "on hand") We'll look like Oregon vs Georgia. Good thing it will be at 11:00 am and no one will watch the game (but us). They'll just see the final score. Hopefully we score a few late score to make it look better

I can’t wait til we’re in the SEC. FOX can take their “big noon kickoff” and shove it. I like Klatt, but not having Texas-Alabama at night is beyond stupid.
Let's play this out.

Texas v Bama at night in primetime- if we get mudholed, every recruit in America sees it.
If we get mudholed at 11am-- not as many see it.
If we win, it's the upset of the year no matter what time we play.
It's going to be hot and humid- which SHOULD play into our hands. Yes, it's hot and humid in Tuscaloosa too-- but Austin is a little worse.
Bama is USED to playing night games and getting fired up for them. Early morning game means we MIGHT catch them flat.
They travel to here so maybe the short night sleep helps us out.

This happens at least once a year between ESPN and Fox.

Any recruit with even a remote interest in either school will see this game, no matter what time.

Most of the recruits who really matter, will be at the game, and they would have a much better experience in a night game environment.

Heat is a non factor. If any difference between the two cities, it’s minute.

C’mon clob, you of all people know Alabama will be here the day before, in time to get plenty of sleep. They’re not waking up Saturday morning, and jumping on a yellow dog to make the trip.

The only positive to a noon game, is the coaches get to spend more time with the visiting recruits after the game.

Now this is just my opinion, but I believe night game environments in big games result in more magical upsets than day games.

The predictable media is doing exactly what we need them to do. ESPN just said that the line could go to 30 in short order. Roschon needs to have that shit pinned in the locker room all week. It's gonna be hostile at DKR. Can't wait. One thing, that idiot Bill O'Brien is still the OC at Alabama. This could play into our hands.

There’s a difference from playing an 11 AM game versus playing a night game. Have to get up a lot earlier and that travel the night before can definitely be impactful.

I promise you-- when you play a night game on the road in a different time zone, they wake you up at your usual hour, but then after breakfast and a pep talk, back to the room you go for some nappy time.
That 11am kick means your ass is up EARLY. No nappy time after eggs and bacon. They can make those kids be lights out by 10pm, but that doesn't mean they sleep. That 5am wake up comes early-- even though its 6am in their time zone.
Yes, it's easier to travel WEST in time zones and play than it is to travel east-- but I'm hoping it rains like a sum b!tch in Tuscaloosa when they're trying to leave and in Austin when they try and land. Have those boys up till 3am....

This is the 2nd thread where he's done this. Does anyone have a clue what word he's censoring?

I was trying to be funny. Cris Fowler is a shameless blue blood homer. That's all.

You mean you guys haven't noticed this about Fowler? He reminds of the old Monday Night Football Frank Gifford.

He tries to go overpower the moment. The good ones let the game come to them.

I doubt that anyone on here has heard of the comedian Joe Bob Briggs. I imagine that he would say about something like this. Another one I borrow from is Norman Chad.

Gee whiz I won't try to be 🤣 anymore.

And Gus Johnson is great.

We were being literal. What does S***** or S*** stand for?

You censored the word screw? You literally censored the word one uses to censor oneself from saying f*ck? Well I’ll be darn*d.

and you'd be wrong. Used to be me and my buddies didn't go see a movie unless Joe Bob said it had the requisite amount of exploding bamboo fu, multiple instances of aardvarking and folks making the sign of the double-humped, screeching, sea otter.....

Sumbitch and Dipshit Joe seem to always make it through the filters, that’s how you know this site isn’t linked to Facebook or Twitter or any other left wing media

Even if he CAN, Saban will not run up the score against one of his loyal assistants. If he CAN'T and we keep it close to the end then that will be an obvious good sign. Saban may come across like a pri^^k but he may even give up the spread to keep things close against his loyal ex assistant. Either way, it won't be a blowout as some of you prognosticate.

wont run up the score against one of his loyal assistants? Do you also believe in the tooth fairy? Where did you hear this? I have read in several places that Saban tries to grind his old assistants to pieces.
