Earlier today a fire occurred at the port possibly due to an accident by dredging operations. Of the 6 hospitalized, 4 have been transported to Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio and 2 are at Spohn Shoreline. Please keep them in thoughts and prayers.

I was here this weekend. I asked the same question. Freaking pipeline has been pumping out for years and you manage to hit it? Every power company in Texas runs adds saying "before you dig in your backyard, make sure you call us and we will let you know where are the pipes and cables are....." And these fvcking lazy corpus nitwits just dredge all Willy nilly. This is why corpus can't have nice things. It's a sh!thole run by sh!t asses. And yes, I've known two of the sh!t ass mayors and the likely next mayor who's a nice lady, but she can't manage the sh!t hole either. It's slid too far into sh!tville to be salvaged.

Corpus City Engineers--"our bridge is too short and our channel is too shallow. It will cost 8 billion dollars to build a new bridge and dig a new channel."

City of CC--- "Sheeeeet carna--- my primo down in Laredo can deeg it for 1 billion and a case of tequila."

CC city council--"We are going to need 10 billion and (counts the number of council board members) 12 cases of tequila."

CC tax office "those pinche abogados for Valero have been getting tax breaks for years! Time to tax them and Koch and Champion and DuPont and Dow and all the gringos on Ocean side and in northwest corpus. They can afford it. Whatever's left over goes to the 25th anniversary Salena statue on the bayfront."

Lemme tell you a story.

Ballistic fingerprints is something the Feds have been working on for years. It's why every gun is fired into a tank of water and the bullet is sent to a data base. The barrel leaves a unique finger print on the bullet etc etc.

I knew someone who had a 38 special stolen from him years ago in Corpus. Mustang Island, to be exact. He reported the break in, but didn't tell the cops about the 38. Whether it slipped his mind or he was too embarrassed to tell them, I don't know.

Years later, and I mean years later-- he was approached by the fed for questioning in over 2 dozen murders along the border. Turns out his gun had ended up in the hands of a cartel hit man who was pretty fvcking efficient with it. Once the joint task force of Mexico and America started running ballistics on bullets from major crimes, this certain barrel fingerprint kept coming up.

Of course he got a talking to and was obviously not implicated in the crimes, but his gun had put in some work. All because some assholes from corpus broke into his place.
